Our Story
Greg and I "officially met" through mutual friends over coffee and bowling about 6 years ago. Truth is, we saw each other for the first time at his store... lol. I was there with a group of friends from out of town and I remember seeing him and thinking.. hmmmm, nice looking! He remembers me too, surprisingly with all the different customers he gets.... lol. He wanted to come to our party... lol!! I guess it was meant for us to be together because we met again thru friends a couple of years later. We were both attending the 50th birthday party of a mutual friend. I had gotten a ride with the husband of a friend of mine since I was being picked up later on. I remember when Greg walked in. I took one look at him and thought, wow, he looks nice!! LOL He says when he first saw me, he thought I was with the other man. When he realized who I was sitting with, he knew we were not together, so he was going to ask me to dance but I had just left to attend my own birthday party! Fast forward 8 months. We were all at coffee one Saturday night. Greg had just gotten his 'big red truck', and invited me to go with him to the Pink Palace on Sunday afternoon (Mother's Day 2004), not as a date but as 2 friends going to see the exhibits. After the Pink Palace, we headed down to the river and Harbor Town so Greg could drive his new truck around and then headed to Chili's for dinner. A week or so later, we went out to dinner to the Spaghetti Warehouse. We started bowling together on Friday nights with another couple and still attended coffee on Saturday nights with the group. What started out as 2 friends spending time together, turned into a full blown romance within weeks. Neither one of us can tell you when the spending time together ended and the dates started... (actually, its a big joke between us)... but we both remember our first kiss - at the rodeo!!
On Christmas Eve 2004, we exchanged presents. I gave him a DVD player, as well as a digital camera. He kind of laughed and thanked me and gave me my gift. He bought me the same exact camera as my gift... LOL!! There was another package which he told me held the batteries he bought for the camera. At the bottom of that bag was an engagement ring. He asked me to marry him in the early hours on Christmas morning.
On August 4, 2005, we headed to New Orleans to get married. After getting all the final preparations in place, we were married in front of St Louis Cathedral in Jackson Square. After the wedding, we all headed to Bubba Gumps Shrimp Company for lunch (where the above picture was taken). With us to celebrate our wedding were my son Aaron, his daughter Kristen and my Mom.

We are glad you have stopped to look at our pictures and learn more about us. This site is no where near complete. Keep checking back for more pictures and more stories as we have time. In 2009 we will be traveling to Germany and Austria as well as going on another cruise!
